Enrolling

Our Benefits Team will send you a registration email if you're eligible for health benefits. Please reach out to the team at pgbenefits@populusgroup.com if you have trouble with the KTBS website.
You must enroll within 30 days of your start date. If you miss your new hire enrollment deadline, then you would need to experience a qualifying life event or have to wait until the next open enrollment period. Open Enrollment is held on a yearly calendar basis in November, but coverage will not go into effect until 1/1 of the following calendar year.
Benefits are always effective the first of the month following your start date. If you enroll after your start date you may have past premiums owed.
Our eligibility requirements state you must be working at least 20 hours per week in order to participate and keep your coverage active throughout the year.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

If you’re interested in enrolling, you will need to complete your enrollment with the benefits portal before your 30-day enrollment deadline
FSAs save money on health care expenses or dependent care expenses because you’re paying with pre-tax dollars. Here's a list of eligible expenses.
The money is withdrawn from your paycheck on a weekly basis and placed into your account before taxes are calculated
Only $500 of unused funds carry over to the following Plan Year (calendar year), and expire on March 31st of the following year
You have 30 days from your start date to enroll in one or both of our FSA programs
Your effective date will always be the first of the month following your start date
